Scotty Wright's style is influenced by the great masters of jazz singing and captivates with warmth and harmonic finesse. The Californian singer, pianist and songwriter, who has been a fixture on the jazz scene in his home country for over 30 years, performs classics from jazz, pop and rock on "Saint Mic". With his relaxed interpretations of songs by Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, Simon & Garfunkel, The Carpenters or Roberta Flack, Wright lets the listener dive deep into the entire spectrum of jazz singing. He is accompanied by vocalist Be Be De Vovex as well as Bob Swaski on piano.
The original recording was remastered by original recording engineer Vili Chen and finalized at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell, one of the finest half-speed mastering engineers. Wonderfully dynamic and deep in sound, a collector's item to enjoy has been created.
