American musician Ken Peplowski has made a name for himself primarily in Japan as a clarinetist and tenor saxophonist, releasing three albums with Venus Records in recent years. He gained fame as a member of the Benny Goodman Orchestra and through his contributions to various soundtracks for Woody Allen films. The Album features refreshingly varied new arrangements of legendary jazz standards. Peplowski is accompanied by outstanding musicians such as Ole Kock Hansen on piano, Hans Backenroth on bass and Kristian Leth on drums.
“Petite Fleur” was recorded on November 20 and 21, 2018, at Mill Factory Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark, and was produced, mixed, and mastered by legendary sound engineer Tetsuo Hara.
