Denny Zeitlin may be pushing his music career only part-time, but this has not diminished his talent as a pianist, as this 1997 recording for the demanding Japanese market proves. Together with Buster Williams (bass) and Al Foster (drums), he plays two of his own compositions as well as pieces from the Great American Songbook.
The album was recorded at New York's Clinton Studio on December 5, 1997.
