The studio group "Asylum Choir" was formed in 1967 and consisted of "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" member Leon Russell and Marc Benno, who played guitar on The Doors album "L.A. Woman", among others. On the psychedelic-heavy debut album "Look Inside Asylum Choir," Russell himself played guitar, piano and drums, and arranged the songs: multi-track vocals, guitar and bass guitar were provided by Benno. The original cover, which shows a toilet paper roll, caused too much of a stir in 1968, so it was covered by a portrait of the two musicians - but you may enjoy both covers in this edition.
