The first live album of the US American Russell was recorded on August 28, 1972 in the "Long Beach Arena" in California. The original triple LP was one of the most successful albums of its time and contains original songs as well as well-known covers such as "Jumpin' Jack Flash" by the Rolling Stones. Authentic R&B and rock paired with Russell's energetic piano playing and full-bodied gospel vocals in the background make the approximately 100-minute concert recording an extensive pleasure.
