A year after their successful 1956 album 'Ella and Louis', Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong returned to the studio with producer Norman Granz for another recording. Unlike the first album, this one featured a number of solo vocal tracks as well as the duet tracks, and the pair were also joined by the 'Oscar Peterson Trio' and drummer Louie Bellson.
With the 'Verve Acoustic Sounds' series, Universal Japan is reissuing great recordings from the 'Verve' label in the best possible sound quality.
