In addition to Frédéric Chopin's '24 Préludes', 'Echoes of Life' features seven compositions from the 20th and 21st centuries, including a piece written especially for the album by Francesco Tristano and an original composition by Alice Sara Ott based on Mozart's 'Lacrimosa'. "Echoes Of Life" is Ott's tenth release for Deutsche Grammophon and a reflection on her personal development as a person and an artist.
This "deluxe edition" contains eleven additional tracks and Ott documents the autobiographical aspects of the work in the accompanying booklet.
