Four wonderful works of Spanish classical music are featured on this recording from London's Kingsway Hall. Manuel de Fallas' ballet "El Amor Brujo" ("The Magic of Love"), Granados' Intermezzo from "Goyescas" and the "Suite Española" by Isaac Albéniz.
German-born Spanish conductor Rafael Frühbeck De Burgos leads the New Philharmonia and singer Nati Mistral, who together bring out the drama and intensity of Spanish music. Decca recording engineer Kenneth Wilkinson adds his well-known and valued signature style to this highly listenable recording.
