Hilary Hahn and Natalie Zhu have been linked by a musical partnership since 1993. The master violinists, who both studied at the renowned Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, played violin sonatas by Mozart together at a chamber music festival in France on the initiative of the institute's director Gary Graffman. What began as a baptism of fire quickly paid off. Tours together around the world followed, taking them to Carnegie Hall, among other venues. This recording of Mozart's sonatas for piano and violin was first released in 2005.
