Why has Randy Crawford never gotten the recognition she deserves? There are some truly wonderful songs on this album, recordings of rarely achieved levels. This compilation has a slight jazzy feel, but don't let that deter you. Standout tracks include "Someone To Believe In," "Endlessly" and "Nobody," all of which touch you to the core. But there is a moment in the opening lines of the song "Love Is Like A Newborn Child" when Miss Crawford sings a note and holds it for a few seconds - leaving the listener breathless! For that moment alone, this record is already worth owning. If you are one of those who appreciate great contemporary singers, buy these recordings. They are fantastic.
