Lively playful and relaxed at the same time, jazz legend Cole shows his best side with this highly acclaimed album from 1957. Even if the specification "Nat King Cole and his Trio" is a bit understated, since Cole in addition to John Collins, Charlie Harris and Lee Young also plays with five guest soloists: Willie Smith (saxophones), Harry "Sweets" Edison (trumpet), Stuff Smith (violin), Juan Tizol (trombone) and Jack Costanza (congas, bongos). Together they play wonderful jazz - this is definitely one of Cole's strongest records.
