The American tenor saxophonist and flutist John Stubblefield shows in a strong quintet with the album "Bushman Song" an atmospheric, relaxed piece of underground jazz of the 80s. Stubblefield, who played with big names like Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Solomon Burke and Anthony Braxton during his career, is known in the scene for his powerful, captivating solos.
