Características
The "Western Suite" has been a sought-after album among jazz connoisseurs for decades. After Giuffre disbanded his original trio "Jimmy Giuffre 3" in 1957 and made music without bassist Ralph Pena, but with Bob Brookmeyer on trombone and (still) with Jim Hall on guitar, this gold piece was created.
Giuffre's rhythmic and melodic compositions, without drums or bass, are adventurous and relaxed at the same time.
