Características
The charismatic African-American jazz flutist and singer released only one solo album with "Desert Fairy Princess," but she died much too early in 1983 at the infamous age of only 27. Dependent on dialysis for years, she nevertheless devoted herself with all devotion to this recording in 1981, which has a light-hearted effect and moves the listener with its rousing, slightly spiritual flow. With a very natural sound due to the predominantly acoustic instrumentation, "Desert Fairy Princess" transports you to the jazz 60s and is a clear recommendation for fans of John and Alice Coltrane or a Pharoah Sanders.
