In the years that followed, The Cars wryly referred to their 1978 debut album, titled simply after the band's name, as their greatest hits album. In fact, all nine tracks on the album are still played on American radio stations today. The band's revolutionary mix of bubblegum pop melodies, edgy art rock, brilliant arrangements and pithy minimalism is as catchy as it is eccentric, and still has fans today. Hits such as "Good Times Roll", "You're all I have tonight", "Just What I Needed" and "My Best Friend's Girl" never get old.
