Características
Miles Davis collaborated with arranger Gil Evans three times in his career. After "Miles Ahead" and "Porgy and Bess," together they created "Sketches of Spain," a high point in both careers. Combining Spanish themes, lush orchestrations, romantic timbre and Davis' increasingly lyrical playing, the album continues to resonate five decades after its initial release. Along with "Kind of Blue," "In a Silent Way" and "Round About Midnight," "Sketches of Spain" is one of Miles Davis' most innovative and enduring albums.
The 180-gram vinyl LP has been remastered by Krieg Wunderlich and Shawn R. Britton and is released in limited edition with detailed liner notes on the cover and consecutive serial number.
