Harry Wayne "KC" Casey and Richard Finch were working for a small record label in Florida in early 1972 and had big ideas for really good music that went far beyond their day jobs. On their second album in 1975, they created some of THE disco classics par excellence with tracks like "That's the Way I Like it" and "Get Down Tonight." The consistently danceable album stormed to the top of the charts and laid the groundwork for the band's later inclusion on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.
The MFSL reissue sounds unexpectedly good for a '70s disco album, offering powerful bass with shimmering detail on an enormously wide soundstage.
