With their second album, 'Communiqué', Dire Straits once again delivered relaxed rhythms and complex blues guitars. Mark Knopfler and his fellow musicians had established this sound on their debut and continued it seamlessly. Although 'Communiqué' does not contain a hit comparable to 'Sultans of Swing', it is a worthy successor.
This hybrid SACD has been remastered by Shawn R. Britton. The limited edition with consecutive serial numbers comes in a mini-LP cover with an accompanying 8-page booklet.
