The quadruple platinum debut album of the first true "superband" is considered groundbreaking for the development of popular music. After multi-instrumental virtuoso Stephen Stills left the Buffalo Springfield band, David Crosby turned his back on the Byrds and Graham Nash on the Hollies, they played together in top form - harmonious, innovative and with strong lyrics.
Released in 1969 on Atlantic Records, the original recording of "Crosby, Stills & Nash" now enjoys a remastered reissue as a numbered hybrid SACD through Mobile Fidelity that will delight audiophile fans of the legendary folk-rock band. The polyphonic vocal harmonies typical of CSN are brought out intensely in the remastering of the original master tapes. Great songs like "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes", "Marrakesh Express", "Long Time Gone" or "Helplessly Hoping" inspire with a detailed presentation, in which even the interwoven guitar parts work wonderfully. Realistically and atmospherically reproduced, the re-release of this classic is a real listening pleasure.
