Springsteen's debut, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J., is a personal postcard from the heart of a rock'n'roller who, at the time, was only 23 years old and probably unaware of the legend he would become. The 1973 album contains many of the characteristic themes and sounds that would characterise Bruce Springsteen throughout his incomparable career. It's no wonder that many of the songs - including 'Blinded by the Light', 'Lost in the Flood' and 'Spirit in the Night' - are still an integral part of the New Jersey-born musician's legendary concerts.
