Jazz on Vinyl is the project of the busy label owner Dominique Klatte. The dedicated sound engineer has been releasing pure analog-produced jazz albums without any digital technology in the signal path since 2017. Always on the lookout for the optimal analog sound experience and with attention to detail, Klatte produces recordings that score points with great liveliness and make no compromises from an audiophile point of view. He sometimes uses a parish hall, living room or the library in his home town of Erding as recording locations.
For the second album in the series, Duets, tenor saxophonist Michael Ausserbauer plays with various jazz colleagues.
