An extraordinary combination of their own blues improvisations and jazz ballads is played by the "Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio", much sought after among audiophiles, on "Midnight Sugar". The debut album of the piano trio from 1974 is an evergreen in the "Three Blind Mice" catalog and convinces in the reissue as a double LP with 45 rpm on 180-gram vinyl with an excellent sound.
"Midnight Sugar" was awarded the "Best Engineering Award" and the "Jazz Disc Award" by Swing Journal in 1974.
