Características
Tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson was a reserved, laid-back performer, which is probably why he only received the recognition he deserved towards the end of his career, despite his great abilities, which were revered by musicians such as Weather Report member John Scofiel and honoured with a Grammy, among others.
On 1980's 'Mirror, Mirror', he plays with Chick Corea on piano, Ron Carter on bass and Billy Higgins on drums; all musicians are given equal time to show off their skills.
