After the unexpected success of his concept album "Nature's Concertos" as XRCD24, audiophile listeners soon demanded more. So Winston Ma of First Impression Music decided to release another sampler five years later. Produced using the new UltraHD 32-bit mastering process, 'Back to Nature' offers a compilation of laid-back, relaxing and harmonising sounds. The album features classics such as 'Moon River' and 'Amazing Grace' in simple orchestration - and musical richness. The nature recordings were made in American national parks, including such wonderful places as the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Joshua Tree.
The musical pleasure is complemented by a booklet of stunning nature photography that invites you to dream. The source material for the production comes from Orange Tree Productions. The sound stage extends far beyond the speakers, creating an extraordinary sensory experience. The music almost lulls you into inner peace, and if you listen through headphones you will notice that binaural microphones were often used for the nature recordings.
Ultra-HD 32-Bit-Mastering
This mastering format has been developed by FIM and Five/Four Productions. Five/Four Productions is made up of the former Telarc production team who wanted to be able to master the best possible sound quality regardless of the quality of the equipment. The Five/Four Productions team has won 16 Grammys and countless other awards.
It is re-digitised at 32-bit word length and sampling frequency to match the source material. Wherever possible, 192 KHz is used, but for some material, lower sampling rates can be beneficial to the sound.
Ultra-HD 32-bit productions can be played on any CD player with outstanding sound quality.
