Características
Two major film music prizes are awarded annually at the prestigious Ghent Film Festival, including the World Soundtrack Award, which composer Ryuichi Sakamoto received in 2016. The compilation "Music For Film", to be released in 2022, pays tribute to the impressive work of the late Japanese composer and is presented exclusively by the organisers of the Belgian festival and Evolution Music.
Masterfully recorded with the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Dirk Brossé, it features great melodies from Bernardo Berolucci's films "The Last Emperor" and "Little Buddha" as well as Alejandro Gonzales Inarritus' "The Revenant" and "Babel", among others.
