Smooth jazz pianist Bob James released his latest album 'Jazz Hands' in 2023 and was immediately nominated for the next Grammy in the 'Best Contemporary Instrumental Album' category; he already has two of the coveted awards in his showcase. With his roots in classical jazz, he was Sarah Vaughan's pianist and arranger from 1963 to 1968, but has been a major influence on the fusion genre since the early 70s. He is also a member of the Fourplay quartet. On the title track of his latest album, he receives strong support from Gnarls Barkley singer CeeLo Green.
