Pain in My Heart is Otis Redding's electrifying debut album, which introduced the world to one of the most powerful and emotional voices in soul music history. Pain in My Heart is the first of six studio albums in Redding's legendary career, which tragically ended with his death in a plane crash on 10 December 1967. The album features five Redding originals, including the timeless hit 'These Arms of Mine', Redding's first major chart success; 'Hey Hey Baby', a tribute influenced by Little Richard; as well as 'Security', 'That's What My Heart Needs', and 'Something Is Worrying Me'.
