The remarkable Trio de Curda plays a selection of tangos on this album, recorded by René Laflamme on analog tape with the Nagra IV-S tape machine. Again, Laflamme works without overdubs or post-processing. The Argentineans José Ariel Palacio and Lucas Maxit, as well as the French Juliette Malgrange, play in front of only one Neumann microphone in the Montréal church St-Jean Baptiste.
