Jazz pianist Monty Alexander and his backing band were in top form during a 1982 live gig at the legendary Bubba's Jazz Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Born in Jamaica in 1944, Alexander has been hailed by jazz greats such as Kenny Barron for his light-hearted, soulful playing, which invites the listener to swing along.
Mastered by René Laflamme, this edition contains two audiophile SM900 tapes recorded at 15 ips in CCIR (also available in NAB) on two balanced metal reels manufactured in Germany by Feinwerktechnik Allgäu. It is accompanied by a booklet.
