At the end of the evening, before packing up their instruments to go home, jazz musicians often play a set for themselves. These tapes of the legendary 'Jazz at the Pawnshop' sessions at Stockhom's 'Stampen' club capture one such moment, as the musicians spontaneously explore the many possibilities of the songs and let off steam in long solos. These recordings, discovered after several decades in the vault, have been mastered by René Laflamme.
The numbered 'Deluxe 2 Tape Edition' contains two audiophile SM900 tapes recorded at 15 ips in CCIR (also available in NAB) on two balanced metal reels manufactured in Germany by Feinwerktechnik Allgäu. It is accompanied by a booklet.
