At the end of the evening, before packing up their instruments to go home, jazz musicians often play a set for themselves. These tapes of the legendary 'Jazz at the Pawnshop' sessions at Stockhom's 'Stampen' club capture such a moment, as the musicians spontaneously explore the many possibilities of the songs and let off steam in long solos.
These previously unreleased recordings, discovered after several decades in the vault, have been mastered by René Laflamme and released by 2xHD under the title "Late Night" as a double 45rpm LP in top audiophile quality.
